To keep improving your Vivastreet experience, we will be running heavy maintenance work on our servers, starting Friday, May 30th at 11pm. We expect this process to take about 16 hours.
You will find below the answers to all the questions you might have!
Q: How long is the maintenance work going to last?
A: Our technical team will be working as fast as possible for the site to be accessible again within 12 hours. However, we are scheduling a 16 hour window, so that you can arrange accordingly.
Q: Will I be able to browse the ads or contact the advertisers during the maintenance work?
A: No. All our servers will be switched off, so there won’t be any activity on the site. You might be able to view some pages indexed through the search engines, but you will not be able to perform any action on these pages.
Q: What about using my tablet or mobile? Will I be able to access the Vivastreet App or the mobile version?
A: Unfortunately not. Just as the desktop version, the mobile version and the app will not be accessible. On the mobile site, you might be able to view some pages indexed through the search engines, but you will not be able to perform any action on these pages.
Q: I have an ad on Vivastreet, will it be visible and will people be able to contact me?
A: No. All our live pages will redirect to the maintenance page. However, some indexed pages will be visible through the search engines, but no action, including contact, will be possible on these pages either.
Q: How will I know when the site is back up?
A: We will inform you in real time on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Please follow us to get live updates! In any case, we will send you an email as soon as we have confirmation the site is back up.
Q: I paid for some visibility options, did I just waste my money?
A: No worries! We want to make sure that you fully benefit from the extra visibility you paid for. Therefore, we will automatically add an extra day to all your active paid options, from Friday.
Q: Will I have to contact you for this extra day to be added to my ad?
A: You won’t have to move a finger! We will take care of everything for you; the extra day will be automatically applied to all your active paid options on Friday the 30th of May.
